Established in 2014, GTSE stands as a final destination for a wide range of accessories and tools for both homes and workplaces, priding themselves on excellent quality products, quick and efficient delivery and great customer service.
Being exclusively online, it’s crucial that GTSE’s eCommerce platform not only embodies the essence of the brand but also offers a seamless path for customers to find the products they need. Having migrated to BigCommerce in 2021, GTSE later partnered with 5874 Commerce to help them achieve their global plans for the future. The implementation of Klevu being a key component of this journey.
B2B clients typically come to a storefront with a precise need in mind, it’s therefore important to ensure they are able to quickly navigate to the products they want. GTSE makes this easy for the user with a large exposed search bar with pre-populated text. As customers begin to type, an overlay presents product suggestions, related categories, and imagery of items that match the search query. This intuitive Klevu functionality empowers shoppers to swiftly navigate directly to their desired item.
Klevu has also aided GTSE in minimising the occurrence of ‘0 results found’ pages. Many of the products on the GTSE website have different names and niche terminologies, and they found customers were getting ‘0 results found’ pages due to typos or multiple ways of naming or describing the items. For example ‘cord end terminals’ are also known as ‘bootlace ferrules’. Klevu reporting helped GTSE identify where this was occurring so they could ensure relevant results were displayed for all customers no matter the terminology used. This leads to less frustrated customers and less business lost to competition.

Future focus
GTSE continues to partner with 5874 on their global model concept with the new online stores launching this year in Germany and the US. They are also looking to optimise their site and product discovery experience on mobile as more B2B buyers are searching and buying through mobile devices.
