  1. Tell us a bit about the agency?

Williams Commerce is an award winning full-service digital agency with our own in-house marketing team, experience-led consultancy service and platform agnostic delivery team. We work with clients from the first idea that they have through to building long-term relationships supporting their growth. We work across B2C and B2B, but we also have broad sector experience especially strong in sectors such as fashion retail, pharmaceuticals, and arts & culture.

  1. Why did you decide to partner with Klevu?

Many of our clients are keen to do more with search and merchandising so we support them in looking for the right solution for them. We are happy to help them look at all the options out there and typically the best choice has been Klevu. For us, it is now a platform we will recommend. It’s been great working with the team at Klevu because they can support us when we have more complex problems to solve.

  1. Why do you think product discovery is important to your client base?

In working with clients, we use data to help drive our decision-making processes. We clearly see that customer who use search convert at a higher rate than customers who browse – they have a higher purchasing intent. Klevu lets us build a powerful discovery process that allows us to showcase product trends and popular products the second the customer opens the search bar. This has proven to help engagement.

  1. Which ecommerce platforms do you work with?

We work as both an ecommerce and content agency and build solutions in Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce, Shopify, Drupal, and Wordpress. But we are so much more than that and like to be led by client need. Our team have the capability to pick up any other platform needed to support clients. One thing we like about Klevu is it can be a good foundation to help customers migrate platforms – we know we can take their product discovery across to a new platform with less disruption!

6. What are some of the biggest changes/trends that you currently see happening within e-commerce?

I have to mention AI because everyone does! There are some simple things like alt- text generation and generating an initial product description that are simple and effective use cases for AI to save time, improve accessibility and SEO value.

But I’d also like to call out the increasing trend towards connecting online and offline channels – click and collect solutions in particular, can help improve revenue for clients with physical locations and increase customer loyalty.

7. What are your proudest moments and biggest accomplishments as an agency?

It’s not so much one thing but a thing I love about our company is I can create a walking tour / marathon route from Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in northeast London all the way to Kew Gardens or Hampton Court in the southwest and it’ll go past at least 10 more famous London institutions who we can proudly call clients. It helps to be a fan of museums, galleries, and theatres if you work here!
